This is just an idea, but Zauder's (costume make-up) makes a black
liquid, paint on stuff that seems like it would work. It is for
blacking out one's teeth for halloween costumes. It's made with some
sort of resinous like substance. I've used it to paint on the skin.
It's very black and stays on very well. In fact, it is very hard to
remove with just soap and water.
