How warm or cool is your house that the paste is left out? At
70F or below the dye release sort of moseys along.....Also... how long
and what temp is tough to answer as I don't know what you've got for
powder. There's a lot of variation in dye release time from one
henna to the next. Some of cellulose seems more resistant than
others. It's a bit like "how long should the bread rise?". The only
good answer to "how long and how warm?" is "until it's ready" , and of
course, that comes with experience.

I have a handy faq that I send to the libraries who have to answer
parent's questions. Would you like it? Just email me. It's about a
7 page print out, maybe you can find parts of it you want to use.
