Quite a number of months ago, Catherine Cartwright Jones mentioned
something in a post about some nomadic peoples using henna on the
soles of their feet to toughen them. I've thought about that a few
times since, and wondered if that really worked, or was just a
custom-type thing. Well, I did a design on my right hand the other
day that has very wide, solid lines and covers my whole palm. The
texture of skin under the lines of henna IS very slightly different!
Sort of rougher, or raised. This is very slight, you understand, but
I can close my eyes, and run my finger over the palm, and feel the
lines of the design. I think this is quite interesting, has anyone
else noticed it?
