No, it will eventually fade. If it bothers you, the best thing to do
is to do another henna design over it. Which is usually a happy ending
to a fading design -- a new design on top of it. Other than that, just
keep scrubbing. I tried hydrogen peroxide the other day along with
some scrubbing, and that worked out pretty well (except that I went a
little hog wild with the scrubbing and gave myself a nasty
pumice-burn in a couple of spots...). Right now there is a dying
remnant of a sun on my palm, I forgot when I even did it, but it was
more than two weeks ago, I believe. Only I notice that it's really
there, anybody else would not be able to tell unless I pointed it out
to them and what the design was...

Heh heh... Have you ever done that one eye trick where you look into a
light and then close your eyes real tight and can still see the image
burned into your vision? Maybe that's what happening, you've been
staring so long at this beautiful piece of artistry for the past
couple of weeks that you gave your design a ghostly presence that you
notice, it's there, but it's not... Like a memory that doesn't fade...

Anyway, zipping back from the henna twighlight zone...

If you forget about it, it will fade. In a sense, henna does have a
soul...
