Hi everyone!
Happy hennaing in 2000!

I spent the hols in NYC with the in-laws, and while I didn't get any
hennaing done, I did get the chance to go to the Body Art Exhibit at
the Natural History Museum and meet Amy C from the Forum. The exhibit
is a bit expensive, and only has a tiny section on henna, but is
interested nonetheless and well-presented. And the gift-shop is
packed with cool henna goodies.

It was great to finally meet Amy and to talk with Kenzi on the phone.
Next time I make it to NYC, I'll try not to have the flu so I can do
more things (like check out the Body Art Archive, etc)

My brilliant spouse gave me a still (er, Southern roots showing there,
I mean a distillation device) for making essential oils...of course,
the first thing I'm doing is essential oil of henna. Maybe it will
help boost color/longevity. Maybe it will just smell nice. I'll let
you know what happens.
