When should I harvest henna leaves?

I recently recieved my Lawsonia Intermis (HENNA) plant from Companion
Plants. It is a TINY thing, but I think that it will grow nicely
when it comes out of travel shock.

Anywho, I was wondering if anyone knew when the proper time is to
harvest leaves. I heard from one source that I have to wait until
the plant is flowering, and then pick leaves only from the very tip-
top of the plant. Is that true? Or can I just pick from wherever,
whenever?

Also, is there any special instructions about drying the leaves? Any
info would be REALLY great!! :)
