I seem to remember a study being conducted about how crucial it is
for babies to be physically touched. It was kind of a NASTY
experiment: The needs of one group of babies were catered to, and
they were physically picked up and held by nurses, while another
group had only all their needs catered to, an no physicall
involvement. That latter group of babies all died.

I can't remember the name of the experiment, and I don't know if that
would be something you're looking for, but I'll keep my mind open for
any subject matter, as well as bibliographic sources.

There is something in the James Redfield book "The Celestine Profacy"
about energy fields which can be seen under cirtain circumstances,
and there was a part in the reading that described when when two
human beings touch, and their fields join. The book is fiction, but
it is based on real principals.
