Methys seeds are fenugreek seeds. From my research, they may make the henna a bit more golden as they do impart a golden hue when used as dyes or when used as a tea. They also contain a large amount of mucilage, which will make your mixture extra slimy and goopy. I didn't think they were worth the trouble.
