I used to go back and forth between science/academia (very limited and
formalized touching, such as handshakes) and theater (actors and
dancers can't afford to have much personal space when working). Henna
is interesting, in that the touching is very limited - it's not going
to lead anywhere undefined - but quite relaxed within those limits. I
think that makes it very safe, usually.
