: Thanks for the ideas guys, unfortunately we
: don't have stencils readily avail here in the
: frozen tundra, so people are going to have
: to just fake it. Last year they did their henna
: with toothpicks, so i figure the ziploc baggie
: "cone" is going to be a major improvement
: for them.

: I just mixed up 500gm of henna, I hope its
: going to be enough for about 75+people with
: a few teaspoons in each baggie. I figure if
: there is leftovers, it'll already be nicely
: packaged in the henna cones and ready to
: go home with the partiers.

: This party is going to be really great. There
: will be bellydancing, eating and then of
: course henna....like a full day of female
: bonding. I love it!

: Nobody answered me as to what they
: thought about having a tip jar out for the
: designs I do on people. Don't forget I am
: getting free bellydancing classes for offering
: 3 hours of my time. I don't wanna sound
: come off as GREEDY at all.

: Suggestions?

You tip the hairdresser right? you tip the waiter right? you tip the
valet to park the car right? So why can't yo uget a tip or have a tip
jar? You can you are providing a service, and no it isn't greed. To
avoid guilt put the tip monies towards more henna or something
related. just leave it and you can be cute "Poor man's Henna fund" no
just kidding....:-) I hope you enjoy your belly dance party. As a
belly dancer, I love to henna a couple days before the performance.
You and Frank will do great!!!! Some may disagree with me but you see
the tip jars, at dunkin donuts, starbucks etc. So there is no reason
why you can't have one, yo uare providing a service. I went to NM a
couple years back to a weeklong belly dance festival and the promoter
provided a free massuse, and I tipped the massuse, he replied, yo
uare the first person to tip me all week. I guess other dancers
didn't think to tip him. Also , just leave the jar there and people
will tip. NEVER ask for one.. GOOD LUCK!!!!! Blessings, Christine
