Okay so as most of you know the bellydancing school I attend had
their annual Henna party yesterday, and I was in charge of henna. It
was a sweet deal, I do henna, they pay me out of pocket expenses, and
then I get a free session of bellydancing classes (worth
$100)....worked for me. I'm not even going to charge them for the
500g of henna I used from my Castle Art personal statsh.
Anyhoo, I didn't sift the Castle Art all that well, I was lazy, and
500g is a lot to do at once. I didn't care because the henna that I
had made up the night prior I had sifted really well and that was the
stuff I was going to use in my tiny tipped bottles.
So anyhoo, there were over 100 people at this party, and most of the
people were doing henna on themselves, just playing with it, it was
totally fun. But I ran out of henna in my little bottle and added
some of the non-sifted stuff, and guess what, the TERMINAL clog.
And without my Frankie to unclog it I had to think of something fast
as my line was growing larger by the minute...so I grabbed one of the
carrot bags that Catherine had sent to me to try...luckily I had
filled it in case anything happened. I have to say I didn't cut the
tips off, someone else must have so they were bolder than I would
have liked, but to my suprise, the cones were REALLY easy on the
hands, and pretty damned easy to use in general.

I really liked the mobility, and the ease of henna flow, what I
didn't like was the line was "flat" instead of a rounder line that
the bottle produces. Other than that, it worked out JUST FINE :)
So I wanted to thank Catherine, and ask her how I go about getting
some more carrot bags from her for emergencies in the future!!!
p.s. I got almost BLACK color on my palm using Castle Art mixed with
just lemon juice overnight, then adding a little tea and eucalyptus
for consistency right before using.

Thanks again!
