Of course, you can put any of my comments on your webpage (nice summary, BTW) I think you are correct that the henna seems to be irresistable to certain types of bugs. And yes, I think they are just in the environment since I've killed lots of them, had short periods of no bugs, and then a sudden invasion. Once I got so desperate I sprayed the poor plants with RAID...the plants weren't happy for a couple days, kind of droopy, but the bugs were gone, and then the plants perked up again. I like the idea of the plant tent...maybe mosquito netting would work...someday when I have free time (sung to Somewhere over the rainbow...) This battle round I actually took my plants into the bathtub...rinsed them with soap solution and then picked the dead bugs off by hand. There were lots of tiny little round things -- that I suspect were egg cases -- which may have been imperious to soap which is why I keep getting reinfestations so fast...we'll see. On the bright side, those henna plants (Habibi, Rajani and TamraHenna) are real fighters. They just keep sending out new shoots and growing and growing. :)
