Performing experiments with Henna plants. . .

HEY EVERYONE!!!

As I've told Natasha, I am preparing to raise up some new henna
plants so that I may perform some experiments with henna plants.

My hypothesis is this: The substance used for watering henna plants
can impact the potentcy of the dye it releases for mehndi and other
purposes.

I have often wondered if such things like chlorinated tap water would
reduce the effectiveness of the dyeing process, and if things such as
green or black teas, or a slightly acidic water would raise it.

Does anyone have any stories to tell about various watering things
and their results? This would be beneficial to my research!! (Okay,
tell me that DOESN'T sound like a mad scientist!!)

THANKS!!

P.J.
