Here's a recipe I use. 2 C. sugar
1/4 C. lemon juice
1/4 C. water
Mix together in a saucepan. Boil, using a candy thermometer, to 250
degrees F. or to the softball stage. Stir frequently. Pour into
jars and let cool. To use, heat in the microwave to a comfortable
temp. and spread on the skin with a popsicle stick or something
similar. Put on thinly. Apply in the direction of the hair growth.
Place a strip of cloth (an old pillowcase, tea towel, etc.) hold the
skin taut and pull off the strip. When finished removing hair, wash
excess off with a warm, damp washcloth. I find it soothing to apply
pure aloe vera gel afterwards.
