Traditional solar wheel (non-Nazi) swastikas go in both directions.
The clockwise vs counterclockwise is a sort of urban folklore thing.
I really like the South Asian Sathya patterns, because there are
sooooo many beautiful variations that would never be misconstrued as
the Nazi swastika. It's fortunate that we can freely use the endless
lovely variations and sort of leave the single Nazi version to the
History channel and the deeply annoying.
