Here's a thought:

1.) It's a time honored tradition and an artform unto itself.

2.) It can be practiced sanitarily on almost anyone, regardless of
age--and it doesn't carry any nasty connotations dictated from
subculture.

3.) People who practice henna tend to be so stylish that they
wouldn't be caught DEAD with the same design twice.

4.) Henna doesn't fade into a black/blue mass when you're 80.

5.) If you dump Heather for Sally, then Sally for Jane, and then
Jane for Barbara, the heartbreak only lasts as long as it takes for
your dead skin to fall off, should you apply a design containing
their name.

6.) No needles.

7.) Removal of a henna tattoo costs about 89 cents at a drugstore
for a painless loofah glove and takes about a two or three weeks,
versus the multiple months, rubber-band-snap lazer, and scar of
needle tattoo removal.

8.) You don't have to wait until you are 18 to have henna applied.

9.) Henna parlors are optional: how many in home tattooing kits
have you seen?

10.) "You can't grow your own needle tattoo!" -Lamu

CONCLUSION: Why would you have a Needle tattoo when you can have
Henna?
