You information is very interesting as well. It interests me that
the early Israelites would be 'uncomfortable' with it. Part of the
Mosaic Law recorded at Leviticus 19:28 states: "You must not make
cuts in your flesh for a deceased soul, and you must not put tattoo
marking upon yourselves. I am Jehovah."

This was stated right after the laws regarding abstaining from blood
and things strangled, and the unlawful practicing of oems and magic.
Evidently these things (including the tattoo markings) with things of
the nations that Israelites were to have no part of...
