: cant really understand y i would get a henna tattoo when i can get a real one. Okay, so before I respond I have to say that I've been student teaching in a 6th grade for the past three months and as a result have been exposed to some rather . . . creative spelling and writing styles - as Catherine will soon find out, when I finally get those thank you letters to her. (Thanks again, Catherine!!!) With that stated, why would anyone want to respond to a question written like the one which started this thread? I see it and think, troll. Then I think, I've seen 1st graders write and spell better than this. I've even see kindergartners write and spell better than this. Yeah, we're all defenders of henna - which is a great thing to be; I may include it on my resume - and yeah, it's unfair to judge someone on such a little thing rather than as a whole, and yeah everyone makes typos now and then, but . . . I prefer to enter a dialog or conversation with those who can express ideas well. I also prefer to enter into a dialog or conversation with those who are willing to listen, consider and learn, rather than those who try to stir up trouble. Such is my rant. Best, Anne, who's been very frustrated at the writing level of her students of late, and who doesn't mean to take it out in the forum, but still can't shake the teaching thing or the degree in journalism thing; and who always thinks of philosophy when she sees the spelling "cant." ;-)
