If anyone wants to be me when they grow up.... they may have to wait
: till I grow up. Some people asked me about croning ceremonies last
: weekend..... and I told them that if being a crone entailed being
: respectable and serious, they could nominate someone else. I'm
about
: the age of David Crosby and Mick Jagger, but I'm not any more
willing
: to quit being Peter Pan. And... my vanity hopes I don't look quite
so
: much like I been rode hard and put away wet.

Hej,

As a perpetual student, I am still learning . . . when I "grow up" I
hope to be as well informed about everything and as generous as you
are. 'Course, it'd be great to stay Peter Pan, just as long as you
don't go around killing us lost boys when we get too old (that bit o'
information I got from a rather . . . fluffy children's lit course at
UCONN Storrs).

With great respect,

Anne, who is not in SCA but who is dressing up mideval on Tuesday to
introduce her 6th graders to the Middle Ages - as the Ofra Haza song
goes, Wish Me Luck.
