A less expensive and slightly less caustic alternative to clove oil
is an infusion of cloves. I usually make mine with lemon juice so
that I can add just that to my henna powder. I have instructions on
my website for making this infusion (link below). I make up a whole
bunch of it and keep it in a jar in my freezer.
