I'm still learning about mehndi but hope this helps, I use stencils
on my right hand as I'm right handed and can't apply designs well
with my left. Leave the stencil on until the paste is FULLY dry. All
of the stencils I use have a sticky back but you must make sure they
are applied with no wrinkles or gaps, otherwise your design will be
blurred. I use eucaliptus oil which to my knowledge is also called
henna or mehndi oil. Can't help you with the other questions, hope
