Follow-up to that "henna allergy" news article

Remember that thread about two weeks ago (link below) about a Reuters article in which the authors of a scientific paper claimed they had documented an allergic reaction to henna?
Well, they just told me that the person concerned has reported back with a similar reaction to, you guessed it, hair dye.
The authors now accept that the original reaction was probably due to PPD. I'll be interested to see whether they'll be willing to help undo the damage the original article may have caused to the trade of responsible henna artists, and further whether this incident will encourage those in the field of dermatology to publicise PPD reactions which they encounter.
Let's hope so, for everyone's sake.
