The traditional Persian method of making your hair raven's wing blue black involves hennaeing your hair, THEN, you indigo your hair which has the startling effect of first turning your hair intense green, them over 24 hours it oxidizes to black. This has to do with henna being acidic and indigo being alkaline, so the two react and go blue-black. There are some facinating descriptions from tne 17th to 19th centuries of proper English gentlemen having their hair and moustaches done by the local barber in Persia .... and enjoying all the pampering and steam of the baths and suddenly realizing their moustache had just been turned brilliant green .... then to their relief it settled down to blue-black. I've never heard of this being done successfully on skin. Sorry.
