Henna - duh! *grins*

Just wanted to say hi, it is great to find a site so well informed about henna. I have, sadly not learned anything new, but it is handy to know where a good site is for networking with my fellow artists. And to try and find information should I ever run into some problems.
An east indian mother told me once that after you have removed the paste etc, that putting vix on the stained area darkens the design. I have not tried this yet myself, but I thought I'd share the news...
I was informed of a infusion of lemon/clove juice that is quite usefull for using on those who don't take to the henna. It allows them to gain a faint dye. I do not have the recipy with me right now, but for those who wish to experament on their own, it basically involved slowly boiling the cloves in fresh lemon juice and then soaking overnight.
If anyone is ever asked where they can find a henna artist in Kelowna BC, please send them to me! And if anyone happens to be in my area, I am looking for henna artists to help me out this summer at festivals and the like!
