Hi all,

This morning I picked up the new (May) issue The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction (a guilty pleasure), mainly because there was an article on how Daniel Keyes came up with his award-winning story "Flowers for Algernon." It also has a reprint of the original story, before it was expanded into novel form. But I digress.

The cover illustration by Maurizio Manzieri has a woman with some very pretty paint/marks on her face (haven't gotten to the story yet, so I'm not sure what they are or what they signify), but the pattern looks like something that might inspire a henna pattern, if you're that inspired, creative type - a la the Xena inspired patterns.

At any rate, it's very pretty.

Anne, who only has 2 days left on her student teaching!!
