I wanted to do a bold design since I'm dancing tonight and I want the
designs to show up from a well-lit stage. This is the flower symbol
of Inanna, as I learned in a class on ancient Sumerian art taht I'm
auditing this semester. So I thought it was fairly appropriate for
bellydancing...
I've gotten used to having smaller, less bold designs on my palms, but
the red fingertips still sort of shock me whenever I catch sight of
them during the day.
This is the color I've been getting lately. I've been mixing the
special Kenzi henna half and half with Castle Arts -- just because I
like to mix things. Maybe it's the yoga I've been doing since January,
but my hands and feet are a lot warmer at night than they used to be,
and consequently I've been getting deep burgundies.
