Surely all Mehndi wanters would like for us to do the impossible if we let them think that anything is possible. I have to agree on the procedure that Kenzi talkes about. My first (american) Bridal Henna was this mess about "Henna my whole body kind of thing. Animals and floral only and make it dark please!!!
Do I look like a wizard or magician?
I don't keep to many (2) full body henna pictures in my books anymore for my customers (only for friends and myself)
I only keep my own portfolio with photos of past clients finished and depasted hands and feet on hand for show and tell, so that my new clents know that I am capable of doing this artform. Other then that, this is all they will see from me these days.
No open end questions is definetly the right way to go. Symbols explained to them and their uses have always worked for me and the fact that I remind them that this is not a "TATTOO"! Mehndi is a art form that deserves the respect of the wearer.
I go with Kenzi 100% on how to convince them what they need versus what they want.
Sales people have used this tactic to their advantage for Billions of Dollars, millions of vaccum cleaners and gazillions of make-up sales.
