Home made sifter idea

I found a plastic measuring cup with a lid and saw a fabric Coffee filter, and it gave me an idea similar to one someone posted a while back. I bought some scrap chiffon with a fine weave, not real open but not super tight, and am going to try putting some henna in the fabric laid over the top of the measuring cup and then snap the lid on. I should be able to tap the cup on my desk and sift the henna thru it. It shouldnt give you all the dust up in the air and hopefully would work fairly well for less then $5 for small amounts. If I go into this as a job even a part time job, I would need to invest in a better one like the one Amy sells. But for now I am leery of spending that much on what is still basically a hobby with promise. For the other people that still consider this a hobby of sorts, I hope this helps.
