I'll start the ball rolling by saying that I'm now using the three-
tipped applicator available from Body Art Supply. I've no idea
whether any other vendor carries this item, but I find it invaluable
to be able to change tip diameter at will, and to unscrew the tip to
remove the odd boulder when it clogs.

Disadvantages? It needs refilling pretty regularly, so you end up
with quite a lot of spare henna left - you can't really use a half-
empty bottle too well. Oh, and it does clog regularly on anything
other than perfectly sifted henna. You can't just push the lump
through like you can with a plastic cone.

But, the fact that I can get a smoother line than I can with a cone
makes it worth it for me.
