I've tried out some of the coloured powers before - I used red for
Halloween to make a flower on my palm (I was a Sandman on Lastday
from Logan's Run, not that anyone recognized me). I mixed the stuff
up a few days beforehand and left it on overnight, even though the
directions said to keep in on just a little while. The colour was
more pink than red and lasted about two or three days.
I've tried coloured paste - can't remember the brand - and again, the
red was really pink. The paste was more liquid than not and I had to
use a toothpick to apply it. And it washed off within 24 hours.
All in all, I'd suggest Temptu over the coloured powder/paste.

: I'm thinking about getting some of the colored powders and I would
like to hear from someone who's used them. How's the stain, does the
stain last like the regular henna, good color, etc.
