I've seen in 5 different sources that the ammonia goes on AFTER the
henna comes off .... and that's the only way that I've ever gotten it
to work....
If the amonia is used in the henna paste wouldn't the base

That is certainly my impression not only from the chemistry and
reading accounts of people who do this in Africa

YES

It depends on the skin, and the answer is, generally, no.
Is it ok for sensitive skin?
Absolutely not. It does a diaper rash sort of thing.

That's a pic of my ammonia work. It exfoliates about a week quicker
than the usual, but it is definitely a way to tweek natural henna to
