There is a new expensive kit on the market in Canada and on the net which has a "sealant" containing AHA (alpha hydroxy) which is an exfoliant, in other words it helps the skin to shed cells. Thus it makes your henna design go away faster. The traditional and effective method of treating the drying henna paste was posted in the first answer to this question by Kris. We have never seen the term sealant used in regards to henna before. Great idea for painting a wall or somesuch, but not something you want to do to the pores of your skin. Henna aftercare is as simple as applying a light vegetable or massage oil to the design daily, especially before showering or washing the area. Avoid solvents, cosmetics, abrasion or excessive soap on the design to maximize its longevity.
