How much do you like the taste? Eeeeeuuuuu. You shouldn't swallow it;
henna may not clean, or free of contaminants. How can you leave it
on your lips long enough to stain without getting a mouthful? Also
... do you like the idea of orange dreamsicle color lipliner as the
stain fades down? And, on facial skin, it's not going to be there
beyond 3 days anyway. Kind of a non-starter.
If you want an ancient traditional lip coloring, evaporate red wine to
sticky dregs and rub that on your lips.
