Even though I am not from Houston...one thing you might want to try is to visit an Indian store somewhere in the vicinty (whether it is a grocery or a sari store etc) and just ask someone if they know of someone who does do mehndhi, chances are ...they do. Reason being, a lot of mehndhi that is done by Indians in particular...(I can't speak on behalf of others..) is done at home and passed by word of mouth. (I should know, that is how I started out..I am just starting now to advertise) Anyway, prices might even be reasonable than going to a salon. If you see an Indian beauty salon...try there as well.

This may seem like a long shot, however I think you might get lucky. (Houston, Dallas and Austin have a high South east Asian population...therefore I am sure you will find someone who knows)
