I, too, am on birth control pills, and as well as slowing my hair
growth (wanting to scream) it seems to be affecting my thyroid
hormones, giving my hyperthyroidism and making me VERY sick! I'm
seeing a specialist.

Catherine suggested taking prenatal vitamins to increase hair growth,
but I'm not sure if that would make my birth control less effective. I
suppose I'll wait to see if the specialist recommends me going off my
birth control. Then maybe I can take prenatal vitamins.

I know how you feel! My hair has grown almost to my waist. My hair
grows fast, even on the pill, but I know if I went off of them, it
would grow so much faster! Do you know if one can take the prenatal
vitamins even on the pill?
