Since rose water doesn't change the color or consistency of the
henna, you can add as much or as little as you'd like. The rose
water is used simply for its aroma and it is pretty strong, so don't
add too much. You can also try orange blossom water, which i think
has a less cloying smell than the rose water. It is usually sold in
Arab stores.
