Rosewater isn't particularly helpful IN the henna paste (it doesn't
seem to be acidic at all) ... but you certainly can use
rosewater/sugar rather than lemon/sugar as your sealer (a Moroccan
bridal tradition), and you can rinse the hennaed skin with rosewater
(another lovely tradition) when you have scraped the henna paste off.
The scent of rosewater blends WONDERFULLY with the scent of henna!
(if you don't do eucalyptus or mehlabiya oil, which would really spoil
the effect)
