It is not harmful that I know of. It certainly doesn't bother my
skin.
The muskiness of henna softens the sweetness of roses (and the
roses make the henna smell less like a hay bale)..... it's my favorite
combination of scents on myself. Fragrances smell different on each
person, because everyone's perspiration is a little different.
The rosewater I picked up here is "food grade" which seems to me to
imply that it can't be harmful. (Rose Petals certified Rosewater) (the
bottle says it's recommended in the Edgar Cayce Readings ..... though
for what I don't know)
