I just want a straight answer on How To?

I've searched through every Henna/Mehndi site on the internet that I
can find and no one can give a straight and detailed "How to" on
preparing the Henna. Anyone who has any recipe that they find works,
please share it with me. And be sure to include how much henna
powder to use. (Everyone seems to leave this out) I am very
interested in learning how to do this wonderful art but as a beginner
I am very confused. Any help would be beyond appreciated. Thankyou
