Generally speaking designs with thicker bolder lines tend to look
better on most men. Sharper angles tend to accent men's bodies
better as they are usually not as round and curvy as women. Look for
refs on Maori (I think that's how it's spelled) tribal patterns..very
cool and many are geometric so not too too intricate. Aztec and Mayan
heiroglyphs have a bold look to them, and are unusual. In general I
like the "ask a man" approach. I go home and ask my sweetie--honey
would you put this on your body? He likes henna so he's a pretty good
judge.
