My palms and black henna

I just love henna, its the most wonderful thing!

I recently hennaed my left palm and it came out a gorgeous dark red initially after I scraped off the past! Now get this, I have a nice calloused hand, very very thick skin, from years of hard labor. J/K!!! But I really do have "worker's hands," somewhat leathery, and over the next day my design darkened to almost black! So my suggestion to everyone who wants black henna: just callous up your body and there you go!

btw, this is a real goofy post because I'm just excited I found this board, I didn't mean to alarm anyone. And I mixed the paste myself with fresh henna, lemon juice, and sugar so I know there was no chemicals or whatnot in my paste :)
