In Morocco too you can get really black henna and they will tell you
that they add dangerous chemicals to the mix: usually gasoline,
kerosene or lighter fluid. Even with these chemicals, they tell you
to leave it on overnight.
Any henna that stains in a half hour is probably black hair
dye....plain and simple.
We are always looking for the fountain of youth, the philospher's
stone, dark henna etc. but in the end we return home and find beauty
in the thing that was there all along. Thanks Rumi.
