Nothing about this is YOUR FAULT....it's basically scummy people,
going online, scamming other people's artwork for their own profit.
You're right, the moment I saw your designs I thought they were so
adorable, and totally artistic I wanted to add them as designs to our
design book, which obviously is not full of all our own original
work. At least you know that the designs that are inspired by your
artwork that we are doing are using 100% natural henna :) We always
talk to our clients about how lucky we were to find your designs and
how popular they are with people.
Just think about it though in perspective, everyone. All a henna
artist (or an artist of black paste of death) has to do is come to
this site, and invest maybe a few hours looking around at the
resources that we all trade with each other in good faith. The truth
is you can find out about all kinds of kewl henna sites, and get
inspired by everybody's artwork here. It's just a matter of right
click and save, and then print if you want to "Steal" someone's pics,
or their designs.
If anyone wants more info on protecting your designs or pics, please
feel free to email me. My fiance knows how to "lock" the pics on the
page so that people can't right click on them and save them, and so
that they cannot print them either. You'll notice that on our site,
all the photos say mehndi2dyefor.com on them. I figure this keeps
the average rif raff from making color photos, or prints of our
stuff, cuz it looks really cheesy to have mehndi2dyefor.com on
artwork in THEIR books. But if they wanna give me free advertising,
that's fine too....
It's unreal to me, the way people act about competition...for the
most part most of us aren't even in the same STATES and if we are we
certainly aren't each other's direct competition in any way. I say
if you see a design on my site that either Frank or myself did and
you like it, and u use it, HELP YOURSELF, however please add either a
link to our page, or give the artists credit. This is just common
courtesy. We are supposed to SUPPORT each other, we are banned
together to fight this CRAP in society, not fight each other. Screw
black henna, screw anybody that uses black henna, and I'm sure I'm
gonna catch some crap for that, but I just have to say it. I have
the black henna artists on Venice Beach in CA (MY home state) because
it just gives the rest of us a bad name. I have black henna warnings
on my site, and I have people emailing me asking me if I'm acutally
warning against it, why do I have black designs....um folks, I don't,
that's the PASTE ON...yet another reason why I have to realize that
we are here not only to make money doing henna, and have fun with it
but to EDUCATE the uneducated about the risks, the benefits, the
history, the culture......
