: Kenzi, I must say I admire your restraint. I have a feeling I would
: just be burning up and glaring at all of them. Too mad to even get
: into a confrontation for fear that I would just start stammering
and
: make no sense to anyone (a wonderful little trait of mine that pops
: up when I'm really agitated).

I am pretty shy, I think, especially with strangers. I tend to speak
my mind without censoring and I fear that I alienate people with
that. My hubby is very charming and diplomatic so it is usually
easier to let him make the first attempt and then pick up the
thread. That worked pretty well. I think that if our motive was to
talk to these people and talk them out of black henna we would have
been more effective. It was just by chance that we got into
conversations with them and then that the conversations turned to the
subject of black henna. We saw henna artists every day over four
days and in many different neighborhoods.
