Nick,
Some of the Moroccan and Aztec patterns at my site are pretty bold
and do well on men. You might also want to include some Celtic stuff
or Inuit art.
There is a great little book I got a few weeks ago called "Tribal
Tattoo Designs" by Maarten Hesselt Van Dinter, Maarten Hesselt Van
Dinter. It has tattoo designs from all over the world and from many
different eras. There are a lot of really bold masculine designs in
there esp. some of the Indonesian designs. I did one on my arm just
to practice and it looked fabulous...a nice change from the lacy
stuff! I have a copy of this book so you can borrow it when you're
in NYC to make drawings from (if you want to save some $$).
