Hey Chris,

I'm with Yvonne on this one. Definitely go with Castle Art. Great
quality product, and great people.

I bought their regular henna kit last year when I was just starting
out. It included henna (of course), a silver mixing bowl and stick
(of which the acid in the paste corroded badly the first time. It's a
pretty little bowl, but I would suggest using it for something else
other than mixing henna), 2 stencils, mehndi oil, an instructin sheet
and a cone applicator (this is not a carrot bag. It is more like a
cake decorating bag which was very hard for me to use the first time.
I would suggest buying regular carrot bags from Castle Arts). It all
comes in a nice little canvas pouch.

She (Amy, the owner) also sells design books, I've never bought one
from her though. I get all my designs from the Navneet books (see the
links page) and from the great people at this site.

I also like to work with castle arts because it is a small company,
who I believe cares about the art of mehandi, not just the art of
making a profit.

Hope this helps,

Bye,

spring right? I didn't miss a memo did I? :)
