I did some henna on my fingertips Thursday night, and Friday the
color darkened to a cherry/brown. It's very beautiful and i am very
excited it worked so well on my first try. I did not get it wet for
24 hours, and now it is Saturday and my fingertips are already
starting to fade!!! They were fading before i came into contact with
any water (i did dishes or took a shower, that is all so far). I
don't know what went wrong! I read that some oils cause a dark stain
but don't last long, and i did use tea tree. But is there any other
way i could get a dark stain with out oils, and make it last? I
have not tried the dried and boiled limes yet, but i do have some
dried limes ready. I just want a dark stain to last, but it does not
seem right that it would fade in just one day!! If it all fades that
fast, i can't aford to go over my henna every other day.
