wax resist

The discussion of wax resist got me thinking so I tried it. Forgive
the bad artistry. I have an inner ear infection so I am too dizzy to
make decent lines but I wanted to try it now.
I used beeswax and a kistka(for ukrainian egg dying). You must be
careful not to get it too hot or it will drip and burn you.
I used month old henna and left it on for 10 minutes. Wow, what
color! I'll have to use that one again.
It looks really cool. Nicer than the pictures.
I rinsed off the henna and scraped off the wax(I kept the lines
fairly thin so they were a bit more challenging to take off). I used
a smidge of white camphor to remove the rest of the wax residue.
So, I would say it works.
I posted earlier a good place to get wax.
