Graeme already gave my two cents...lol.

I used to just refridgerate the leftover liquid, but it didn't keep as
well for me that way. It wasn't mold retardent and I had to throw it
out quite often. So then I just started freezing the remaining
liquid, and then would thaw the container out when I needed some...or
chip away at the henna tea ice chunk. THAT got old fast, then I
realize...duh, I don't use the ice cube trays much...why not try them!
Worked like a charm. As soon as it's solid in the tray, I pop the
cubes of tea out and put them in ziplock baggies. When it's time to
mix a batch...I have just put a cube or two in the microwave and I am
all set. If it's not enough liquid, I melt another cube.

I only have to make tea about 3 times a year, because I just freeze
huge batches of it now.

Good luck,
Justine Willowhawk

: For those of you who make a brew as opposed to just using lemon i
: have a question.
: If you make too much brew ( i use fresh squeezed lemon juice and the
: lemon skins, coffee, tamarind, suger, b pepper and cloves) can you
: store it in an old pop (soda) bottle out of sunlight or will it
: degrade and loose its 'potency'. If you can store it how long for
: until a new lot is needed?
: sometimes i just haven't got the time to make a fresh brew each time
:
: Thanks
