If you need to sketch on your skin before applying henna, I recommend
Stabilo or Derwent Aquarellable pencils. Dip the pencil in water ...
draw on your skin. Very safe. Cheap. Doesn't interfere with the henna.

If you want to doodle on your skin to make temporary tattoos ...
Temptu would be a kinder choice to your skin. To prevent feathering
in Temptu ... a little talcum powder does the trick! Also ... pour a
few drops of your Temptu into a Sake cup and let it evaporate just a
bit to get a more opaque skin paint, and paint on two coats (like
fingernail polish.
